Current status — the iPhone rollout is free during early access. Planned public-launch pricing is shown below so students and teachers know what comes next.
Pricing & access
Current early access is free. Launch pricing is already defined.
If you're a student, you can join the current iPhone rollout at no cost. If you're a private instructor, teacher access is rolling out in early access now. The prices below are the planned public-launch student prices.
Teacher access today
Private instructors can request early access, invite students by code, review practice before lessons, and keep assignments connected to the student plan.
Teacher pricing today
No paid teacher seat yet. We are validating the workflow first, then publishing launch pricing before public release.
Student pricing at launch
Planned public-launch pricing is $15 one-time for the student app or $9.99/month for Pro.
Why this page looks different
We are separating what's live today from what we plan to charge later so students and teachers are not forced to guess.
Availability
What students and teachers can use right now
One source of truth for what is live, what is rolling out, what is still being built, and what is only planned.
Live now in the iPhone early access build
Students can use the current iPhone build today to practice with more structure and more visibility.
- Structured daily practice plans built from recent work, weak spots, and lesson context
- Built-in tuner, metronome, drone, recordings, voice notes, and session logging
- 11,000+ tagged exercises across 10 band instruments

Rolling out to private instructors now
Connected teacher access is available in early access while we validate the workflow with real studios.
- Invite students with a class code and connect lessons to daily practice
- Review what students practiced before the lesson starts
- Run lesson mode, leave notes, and assign next steps inside the teacher workflow
- Early access users currently use the product at no cost while launch pricing is still being finalized
The next teacher and director layer
These workflows are actively being built and validated, but they are not positioned as fully available yet.
- Class-level analytics and weekly teacher summaries
- Parent-facing progress updates and reporting
- Band-director concert-prep and ensemble-readiness workflows
What comes after the current rollout
These are meaningful next steps, but they follow the current iPhone and teacher rollout rather than lead it.
- Android support
- A web-based practice experience
- School, studio, and district launch pricing/licensing

Questions?
Pricing FAQs
We keep pricing simple and fair. If something isn't clear, ask.
What happens during early access?
Everyone in the current early access rollout uses Virtunity at no cost. Students get the iPhone build first. Private-instructor teacher access is rolling out in the same period. The prices below are the planned public-launch student prices, not what we charge today.
How does teacher access work today?
Private-instructor teacher access is rolling out in early access with invite codes, lesson review snapshots, lesson mode, and assignments. There is no separate teacher charge during early access.
Will there be teacher pricing at launch?
Yes, but we're not selling it yet. Teacher and studio pricing will be published before public launch once the current teacher workflow is stable enough to price responsibly.
Why would I want Pro?
The $15 student app gives you structured practice with the full exercise library and session tracking. Pro is intended for students working closely with a connected teacher: lesson notes shape the plan, the plan adapts as new practice data comes in, and the teacher-connected workflow goes deeper. Parent reports and broader analytics are part of the later rollout roadmap, not something we're positioning as fully live today.
Can I start without Pro and upgrade later?
Yes. The base student app handles structured practice and tracking. Pro layers on more personalized teacher-connected planning when you need it.
What instruments are supported?
All 10: Bb clarinet, flute, alto sax, tenor sax, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, French horn, and percussion. Every instrument has technique-specific exercises written for your range and audition requirements.
What exactly is a "practice plan"?
A practice plan is a structured session telling you exactly what to work on and how. With the base app, plans are built from your level and instrument. With Pro, your teacher's lesson notes feed directly into the plan, so if your teacher says 'work on air support and register break,' your next practice session is loaded with exercises targeting exactly that.
Can my teacher and parents see my progress?
Teacher visibility is part of the current early access rollout for connected instructors. Parent-facing reporting is still in development, and launch packaging for those reports will be finalized before public launch.
Do you offer refunds?
If a monthly charge doesn't work for you, contact us within 14 days for a refund. No questions. We want you to feel confident in your choice.
Ready to join the current rollout?
Students can join early access now, and private instructors can request teacher access while the workflow expands.
