First Five Notes
- How do I restore an App Store purchase?
- Open Parent Settings or the unlock screen, tap Restore Purchases, and pass the parental check. Use the Apple ID that made the purchase. Family Sharing works — family members restore through Apple on their own devices.
- How do I restore a website purchase in the app?
- In Parent Settings, sign in with the parent account from your website purchase. Website purchases restore in the app; App Store purchases restore through Apple, not on the website.
- How do I reset the parent account password?
- On the First Five Notes website — the app doesn't handle passwords.
- How do I delete the parent account?
- Sign in, open Parent Settings, choose Delete Account, and pass the parental check — or email us below. This removes the account and its website purchases. App Store purchases stay with Apple.
- Why does First Five Notes ask for microphone access?
- Only to hear whether the right note is being played. Sound is processed on the device and never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
- Does First Five Notes work offline?
- Yes — lessons and progress work offline. Website purchases stay unlocked for up to 30 days between check-ins.
- What happens to progress when I switch instruments or update the Clarinet app?
- Each instrument keeps its own progress, and progress from the original Clarinet app carries over automatically.

Virtunity Practice
- How do I link my student to my class?
- Open Add Students in the Teacher Dashboard and share the invite code, QR code, or email invitation. The student signs in or creates an account and accepts the invitation.
- How do I reset my Virtunity Practice password?
- Tap ‘Forgot Password’ on the login screen. Check your email for a reset link.
- Which instruments are supported?
- Bb Clarinet, Flute, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, French Horn, and Percussion.
- How do practice plans work?
- A teacher can assign scales, exercises, repertoire, and a focused practice plan. Students open the assigned work and mark it complete as they practice.
- Is Virtunity free?
- Yes. Virtunity is free today on the App Store.
