How the practice works
- 1. Name it. Learn to recognize each written note on the staff.
- 2. Finger it and match the pitch. Practice the fingering on screen; a correct answer sounds the note so you play along with it. Playing starts here, not at the end.
- 3. Play it. The app listens while you play and confirms the expected note was produced.
- 4. Learn a song. Use the notes you have learned to play a song in the browser app.
The mic only listens while you play, and nothing is ever recorded. The app does not score rhythm, tempo, tone, or articulation; those belong to your teacher.
Baritone sax uses the same written notes and fingerings as alto sax. It sounds an octave lower.
